Meet the Baker
Shanda Cullum
Cullum’s Cakes and More is not only known for beautiful and well-decorated cakes but also delicious tasting desserts.
I am a native of Hampton, Virginia with over 35 years of baking cakes, pies, and assorted desserts. I have always had a passion for baking because my mother baked and decorated cakes. I was quickly labeled and branded as her helper. I started baking cakes when I was in high school for my friends and family. As an adult, I decided to turn my passion into my work and way of life.

I enjoy decorating character cakes, making specialty cakes, dessert shooters, cake pops, cupcakes, brownies, and pecan chewies; and adding special touches for my customers. My products help me to celebrate and/or be a part of customer major life events: birthdays, retirement parties, promotions, weddings, sporting events, graduations and etc. All of my products are homemade and baked fresh upon request with my personal touch. I take pride in everything that I make from baking, presentation, and delivery of my product. No order is too big or small.
